Places of interest in Svindinge and neighbourhood

On this page you will find information about excursions, accounts of monuments of the past or scenery worth visiting. The page is kept current.
Outside the pastoral scenery Svindinge also has some relics from the past not without interest. The church of Svindinge, a village renaissance church from late 16th century, the church of Øksendrup from around 1200, Glorup castle from 1744 with the park and gardens, where Hans Christian Andersen wandered and helped with parties and ideas. The Regisse Spring with its curative powers.
There are several walks or bicycling-tours around Svindinge and a fine beach with possibilities for a swim at the Great Belt. If you cannot finish it all in one day, there are several possibilities for staying for a period. See our page with hotels, inns,  bed-and breakfast etc.
